I may have the number of posts per page set to high.
Right now...it's set to 40 posts before it starts page two.
Most board have it set to 15-25 posts before it starts page two, but I set it higher because I like to be able to follow a thread for as long as possible without flipping to the next page.
But most of the boards with 15-25 posts before starting page two usually have short posts such as "me too!" or "I agree!"...in other words not much substance, but I'm noticing that you people are writing freaking novels when you debate which is making the threads extremely long.
Now then, it's not a problem for me since I'm on high speed broadband, but what I'm wondering is for those of you that are on dial-up, would it help you if I made the software start a new page with fewer number of posts in order to make it load quicker for you?
This will in no way shorten what you can post...it will simply start a new page in which to continue the debate sooner.
